VooPoo have long been established in the vaping game as manufacturers of excellent hardware, and the latest tank from their incredible UForce range continues this legacy into 2023.
Let’s do the basics first, the UForce L Tank is principally a sub tank designed to produce massive clouds of tasty vapour. Made primarily from Stainless Steel, the UForce L is top filling, top airflow and top notch.
The airflow control is silky smooth, and it being at the top of the tank certainly helps with leaking - I’ve been using this tank as my daily driver for four days now and haven’t had an issue with leaking yet. The airflow design allows for air to enter through the vents on the top of the tank, and then proceed down inside the tank to cool the coil from the base - functionally brilliant. Restricting the airflow will produce a warmer vape if that’s what you’re into, but for me it’s all the way open, all of the time.
It’s also super easy to refill, with the top cap simply twisting off to reveal two juice ports which are plenty big enough to accommodate any juice bottle nozzle.
Hardware companies can sometimes be a bit annoying when they release a new tank - lots like to ignore the excellent coils they already produce and redesign the wheel for their new tank. Not so VooPoo who have designed the UForce L Tank to run with their existing PnP range of coils. This means you are treated to a vast range of already proven coils, and if you are already familiar with the PnP coils then you know how good they are - the TW15 0.15Ω for instance is one the best flavour producing sub ohm coils we’ve seen in years, and it also pumps out vapour like a kettle on a cold morning. When it comes to changing the coil, simply unscrew the base of the tank, pull the old coil out and push-fit the new coil in - simple.
All in, we love the UForce L Tank and although it’s perhaps a little early to say this, but we might have found a strong contender for tank of the year!
